cheap hdmi cables

Hi all.
Well, I'm slowly building my entertainment center.

Where can I get inexpensive HDMI cables?

Here's the one from Amazon:
2M from Eforcity for $1.70
Shipping & Handling $2.98 per item / $11.92 for 4 items (ouch!)

So for 4 cables, the total comes out to $6.80 (cables) + 11.92(S&H) + 1.60 (tax) = $20.32
Average cost $5.08 / cable

Good deal?

i got some at eForcity.

works fine. just to be sure, i would make sure that they are HDMI 1.3 compatible, other than that they should be good. i've had no trouble with the cheap cables.

i bought a 3 pack bundle on sale for $12.39 from yesbuy.net about a year ago ($4.13 each).

just found this on fatwallet but it looks like they are out of stock when i tried to add to cart...

3
for $10 shipped

it looks like eforcity sells on ebay too...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260346196 . . . each w/ free shipping (only if they don't charge tax, otherwise, $5.28 each)

meritline has a 2-pack for $8.99 w/ free shipping, this might be the cheapest (but not by much).
http://dealnews.com/6-Foot-HDMI-Cable-2-Pack-for-9-free-ship . . . think they charge tax, so $4.87 each after tax

I haven't gone HDMI yet. So no opinion on HDMI cables.

What are you going to use to control your digital media center? I have a set of Gyration mouse and keyboard. It's pretty cool, because you can wave it around in the air to move the mouse pointer. It work 100 feet away, so I never have to leave the couch.

I've wrote some articles on setting up the software on your digital media center so that it's usable 30 feet away. I use these instructions ever time I rebuild my entertainment PC. May help you out:

Configure Windows Vista for Use with a Television

The heat geenrated from the play can be used to make popcorns.

But only certain packings, right?

There'd be nothing for us to talk about if we just keep Googling, right? ;-) After all, Sp Chess could have just gone an Googled for the "cheap hdmi cables" and really all the reviews online. Then we'd all live in our own little worlds and we'd never even know you have a Popcorn Hour A-100.

My problem is that I don't have as much time as before to really read the reviews. I use to be able to search and review. Now, I can only read a couple of reviews and have to rely on others' input.
